Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre

Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre is a modern hockey arena with 7,000 seats across multiple levels, including 300 club-level seats, 15 suites, and several private spaces for special events. The building houses various amenities including food vendors and a team merchandise store at the main entrance.

A community vote in 2006 approved the project, and construction of this $64.7 million facility began in 2007, with the arena opening in 2009. The building was part of broader efforts to strengthen Abbotsford's sports infrastructure.

The facility is home to the Abbotsford Canucks of the American Hockey League and carries forward the region's deep connection to ice hockey. The team's regular presence shapes local identity and brings the community together around the sport.
