Construction for SkyVue began in 2011, but by 2013, faced with numerous delays and lacking funding, the site became inactive.
Part of the heart of Las Vegas' vibrant entertainment scene, the Skyvue would have featured LED multi-media displays on both sides of the wheel showcasing film premieres and live sporting events.
Despite remaining unfinished, it's a notable symbol of Las Vegas' ongoing effort to expand its world-renowned attractions.
If completed, SkyVue would've been one of the tallest structures in Las Vegas.
