Skyvue, Unfinished observation wheel project on Las Vegas Strip, United States.
Two concrete pillars stand near the Mandalay Bay Hotel, marking the location where a 500-foot observation wheel was planned for construction.
The Clark County Commission approved the Skyvue project in March 2011, followed by a groundbreaking ceremony led by Howard Bulloch of Compass Investments.
The development included plans for a retail district with British landmark replicas, representing an extension of Las Vegas' tradition of themed attractions.
The structure remains incomplete since 2013, with all scaffolding removed from the concrete columns that now stand as remnants of the project.
The design incorporated plans for the largest outdoor LED advertising screen worldwide, intended to be visible to travelers along the Las Vegas Strip.
