Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, Bridge in Arizona/Nevada
The Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge is an arch bridge in the United States that spans the Colorado River between the states of Arizona and Nevada.
Opened in 2010, it was the first concrete-steel composite arch bridge built in the United States.
The bridge is named in honor of former Nevada Governor Mike O'Callaghan and NFL player Pat Tillman who left his career to enlist in the U.S. Army.
The bridge provides a bypass route for trucks that are not allowed to cross Hoover Dam.
It is the second highest bridge in the United States.
