Musée Würth France Erstein

The Musée Würth France Erstein is an art museum located near Strasbourg that presents modern and contemporary works across approximately 800 square meters of exhibition space. The building sits within a spacious park setting covering roughly 5 hectares.

The institution opened in 2008 to showcase selections from the Würth Collection, a major private art gathering. This collection encompasses roughly 20,000 works tracing artistic movements from the late 1800s to today.

The collection displays works by renowned artists including Munch, Kirchner, Nolde, Beckmann, Picasso, and Ernst, offering visitors insight into artistic movements across generations. These pieces reflect how art evolved from the late 1800s onward.

The venue welcomes visitors Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM with no entry fee. Staff members speak French, German, Alsatian, and English to assist guests throughout their visit.
