Kearns-St. Ann's Orphanage, Catholic orphanage in South Salt Lake, United States.
The Renaissance and Mannerist style building at 430 East 2100 South features architectural elements designed by Carl M. Neuhausen in 1890.
Bishop Lawrence Scanlan established the orphanage in 1891 to care for children left parentless by mining accidents in the Salt Lake City region.
The institution transformed from an orphanage to Kearns-Saint Ann School in 1955, serving students from preschool through eighth grade.
This National Register of Historic Places building underwent substantial renovations in the early 1990s to maintain its structural integrity.
Jennie Judge Kearns provided $60,000 in 1898 for the construction of the new building, which initially housed 92 children upon completion.
