Utah Governor's Mansion, Historic mansion at South Temple District, Salt Lake City, United States.
The Utah Governor's Mansion features white stone walls, tall columns, ornate architectural details, and a symmetrical design reflecting Classical Revival architecture.
Built in 1902 by mining entrepreneur Thomas Kearns, the mansion became the official residence of Utah's governors in 1937 after the Kearns family donated it.
The mansion serves as a representation of Salt Lake City's architectural heritage, displaying the prosperity of early twentieth-century mining magnates in Utah.
Free guided tours of the mansion run from March through December, with visitors entering through the south entrance on weekdays between 9 AM and 4 PM.
The mansion's interior preserves original materials including Tiffany glass windows, hand-carved woodwork, and silver-plated chandeliers from the early 1900s.
