APA-Turm, International press center in Döbling district, Vienna, Austria
The 82-meter-tall office tower contains 13 floors and spans 7000 square meters of space in the northern section of Vienna.
Austrian president Franz Jonas inaugurated the International Press Centre in September 1970, following its construction period from 1968 under architect Kurt Hlaweniczka.
The building housed multiple international media organizations, including Austrian Press Agency, German Press Agency DPA, television channels ZDF and RAI until 2005.
After removal of asbestos and multiple ownership changes, the unoccupied building requires substantial renovation before potential future use as residential or office space.
The structure stands empty since 2005, with construction planking sealing window openings following asbestos removal procedures in the entire building.
