APA-Turm, International press center in Döbling district, Vienna, Austria

APA-Turm is a 13-story office tower approximately 82 meters tall located in the northern part of Vienna. The building contains around 7,000 square meters of floor space designed for office use.

Construction took place between 1968 and 1970 under architect Kurt Hlaweniczka's direction. The Austrian president Franz Jonas inaugurated the center in September 1970 as an international press facility.

The building housed multiple international news organizations until 2005, including the Austrian Press Agency and European broadcasters. These institutions shaped the location as an important communication hub for the city.

The building is currently not accessible to the public and is surrounded by construction barriers due to ongoing remediation and renovation work. Visitors can view it from the street while respecting the safety perimeter.

The structure has remained vacant since 2005 with its windows sealed by wooden panels. This abandoned building stands as a striking example of unused modern office architecture within the city.
