Six Flags Zhejiang

Six Flags Zhejiang is a theme and water park complex in Hangzhou Bay with rides, shows, and play areas spread across its grounds. The water park section includes over 27 water slides and various aquatic installations for cooling off and splashing around.

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation started the project in 2015 with construction beginning in early 2016. In 2020 Sunac China Holdings took over and renamed it as part of a larger Hangzhou Bay tourism development.

The park reflects how Chinese entertainment preferences blend with global amusement standards, creating rides and shows that mix familiar elements with new experiences. You can see this approach in both the attractions themselves and how visitors move through different themed areas.

The water park section has been operating since mid-2021 while other parts of the complex continue to develop. Plan to spend several hours exploring both the water attractions and the broader park areas.

The park started as a Six Flags project but was taken over by Sunac China Holdings, who integrated it into a larger Hangzhou Bay tourism concept. This ownership shift brought new directions and connected it to nearby developments in the area.
