Six Flags Zhejiang

The Hangzhou Bay development incorporates both a theme park and water park spanning across an extensive area near Shanghai, featuring numerous attractions and entertainment facilities.

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation initiated the project in 2015 with a groundbreaking ceremony in January 2016, before Sunac China Holdings acquired it in 2020.

The park design integrates Chinese entertainment preferences with international theme park standards to create attractions that appeal to both local and foreign visitors.

Construction of multiple phases continues with the water park segment already operational since June 2021, offering 27 water slides and various aquatic installations.

The development transformed from a Six Flags venture into Hangzhou Bay Sunac Tourism City, representing one of the largest entertainment complex transitions in Chinese tourism history.
