Rexburg Idaho Temple, Modern temple in Rexburg, United States
The Rexburg Idaho Temple features a 169-foot-tall spire topped with a golden statue and showcases white quartz rock exterior panels across 57,504 square feet.
The temple construction began with a groundbreaking ceremony on July 30, 2005, and Thomas S. Monson dedicated the completed structure on February 10, 2008.
The temple incorporates wheat motifs in glass windows and murals depicting local wildlife, reflecting the agricultural heritage of eastern Idaho.
Located at 750 South 2nd East, the temple provides endowment ceremonies in multiple languages and includes four instruction rooms, five sealing rooms, and one baptistry.
Over 200,000 visitors toured the temple during its public open house, requiring additional dates to accommodate the high number of attendees.
