Adhari Park, Amusement park in Zinj, Bahrain.
Adhari Park is a theme park in the Zinj area of Bahrain's Capital Governorate, offering both indoor and outdoor rides for different age groups. The grounds also include cafes, restaurants, and open green spaces that connect the different sections of the site.
The park opened in 2008 around Ain Adhari, an ancient freshwater spring that had been known in the region for centuries. The site was redesigned to incorporate the spring into the new leisure complex rather than remove it.
The park is a popular gathering spot for families, especially on weekends and public holidays. Visitors tend to spend several hours moving between rides and open-air areas where people eat together and walk around.
The park is most easily reached by car, as on-site parking is available throughout the grounds. Some rides have minimum height requirements, so it is worth checking these in advance if visiting with young children.
The Ain Adhari spring that gave the park its name is still visible and accessible on the grounds today. In a region defined by saltwater and desert, a freshwater spring like this one was historically vital to settlements in the surrounding area.
