Church of Saint George

The Church of Saint George features a central nave with a chancel on the eastern side and a choir section at the western end of the structure.

Construction of the wooden religious building began in 1778, replacing an older structure that previously stood at the same location in the village.

The church maintains its status as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic, representing traditional religious architecture in Eastern Bohemia.

Visitors can reach the church by taking a train to Smidary station, located less than one kilometer southwest of Loučná Hora village.

The exterior walls, initially covered with plaster, were later stripped to reveal the original wooden beam construction beneath.
