Frémont Point, Television transmitter station in Saint John, Jersey
Frémont Point is a transmission facility in Saint John, Jersey, broadcasting television and radio signals through a 139-meter steel lattice tower. The station operates multiple digital multiplexes that serve approximately 30,000 homes across the Channel Islands region.
The station began broadcasting on September 1, 1962, when Independent Television Authority introduced Channel Television to the Channel Islands. By 1976, it had become the primary transmission site for color television throughout the region.
