Millennium Tower

Millennium Tower is a 50-story skyscraper of glass and steel that rises along the Danube riverbank in northern Vienna. The building houses office spaces, a shopping center, restaurants, and a multiplex cinema all within its structure.

The tower was completed in 1999 as Vienna's first mixed-use project combining office and retail spaces. This marked a turning point in how the city integrated different functions within single buildings.

The architectural design by Gustav Peichl, Boris Podrecca, and Rudolf Weber established new standards for modern commercial buildings in Austria's capital city.

The tower offers multiple levels with shops, restaurants, and entertainment that are easy to reach on foot. There are elevators and public areas that are straightforward to navigate.

The construction proceeded at an exceptional rate of 2.5 floors per week, demonstrating advanced building techniques in late 1990s European architecture.
