Tulln an der Donau

Located 40 kilometers northwest of Vienna, Tulln spans across the Tulln Basin and extends toward the Vienna Woods in the south.

The settlement originated as the Roman fort Comagena, protecting the Noric Limes along the Danube River during the Roman Empire period.

The Roman Museum displays local archaeological findings while Gothic and Baroque buildings throughout the town represent different architectural periods.

Twenty-two roundabouts regulate traffic flow in this town, which features the Nibelungen Fountain depicting Attila the Hun's proposal to Kriemhild.
