Wiener Neustädter Lokomotivfabrik

Wiener Neustädter Lokomotivfabrik was a large-scale manufacturing complex for railway locomotives situated at Europaallee, equipped with production lines and specialized machinery for building trains. The factory was founded in 1842 and became the largest locomotive producer in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. During World War II, it was renamed Rax Ges.mbH and converted to manufacturing military equipment instead of trains.
