Österreich is a hamlet in the municipality of Hitzendorf, in the Graz-Umgebung district of Styria. It lies about ten kilometres west of Graz in the Södingtal valley, on the left side of a hill at roughly 400 metres above sea level. The settlement consists of four farmsteads.
