Saint Nicholas church Feldkirch

Saint Nicholas Cathedral is the largest Gothic church in Vorarlberg, featuring double-deck vaults, pointed arches, and thick brick walls that rise prominently above the town. The building contains multiple chapels, sacristies, and worship spaces arranged within its interior structure.

The original parish church was rebuilt after multiple city fires in the 14th and 15th centuries, with architect Hans Sturm overseeing reconstruction work in 1478. The building was later elevated to cathedral status as the seat of the Diocese of Feldkirch in 1968.
