Wildgrat, Mountain summit in Tyrol, Austria
Wildgrat is a peak standing at around 2,970 meters in the Geigenkamm range within the Ötztal Alps. Multiple hiking routes cross its slopes, each offering different levels of difficulty for climbers.
The first recorded climb took place in 1891 when brothers F. and L. Lantscher reached the peak with guide F. Gstrein. Since then the mountain has become an established destination for local alpinists.
