Café Sperl

Café Sperl is a coffee house with distinctive interiors combining red upholstery, brass lamps, marble-topped tables, and crystal chandeliers throughout its rooms. Jacob Ronacher founded the establishment in 1880, and the Sperl family took it over within the first year, giving it the name that remains today. The venue quickly became a notable gathering place for different segments of Vienna's society.
