Bear sanctuary Arbesbach

Bear Sanctuary Arbesbach is a refuge for brown bears located in a woodland setting with ponds and areas designed for natural foraging and swimming. The facility provides spacious grounds where the animals can engage in their typical daily behaviors and movements.

The sanctuary was founded in 1998 by Four Paws organization to care for bears rescued from circuses, zoos, and private owners. Since its opening, it has provided a permanent home where these animals can live without further exploitation.
