The Bäuerliches Schul- und Bildungszentrum is an agricultural training facility in Hohenems that offers courses in sustainable farming, animal care, and business management. Students work on the attached land and in farm buildings to gain hands-on experience alongside classroom learning.

The school was founded in the 1970s as a technical training facility for agriculture and forestry and became an important training center for the Vorarlberg region. Since then it has expanded and updated its programs to teach current farming methods.

Students participate in annual traditions including the Oberschwabenschau exhibition and harvest festival celebrations, connecting agricultural education with regional customs.

The center sits on farmland outside Hohenems and is easily accessible by car with its own parking. Visitors should wear sturdy shoes since exploring the grounds means walking across field paths and farm yards.

The building is constructed from stacked laminated elements and timber-concrete composite floors, with dark red rough-sawn timber slats forming its exterior. This unusual construction approach using local materials demonstrates how traditional building techniques blend with modern design.
