The Minoritenkirche features a central nave adorned with six large niches, connected to the choir through a triumphal arch in the eastern section.
The church construction began in 1278 as a Gothic structure, and Johann Matthias Krinner transformed it from a twin-nave to a single-nave design in 1751.
The interior displays Rococo artistry with altar paintings by Bartolomeo Altomonte and four side altarpieces created by Johann Martin Schmidt.
The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter manages religious services at the church, conducting liturgies in the extraordinary form of the Roman rite.
The church's side altars merge seamlessly with the architecture, representing exceptional examples of Austrian Rococo craftsmanship.
