The Pötzleinsdorfer Schlosspark spans 354,000 square meters of landscaped grounds featuring ancient trees, meadows, sports facilities, and children's play areas.
Originally reserved for aristocratic celebrations until 1935, when the City of Vienna acquired the park and made it accessible to the public.
Four decorative statues from the former Ringtheater, which burned down in 1881, now line the main path leading to the palace.
The park maintains different seasonal hours throughout the year and offers various sports facilities including football cages, beach volleyball courts, and table tennis.
A special animal enclosure, established in 1980, houses Carinthian spectacled sheep and dwarf goats in a modernized habitat with automated water systems.
