St.-Anna-Kirche, Baroque church in Timelkam, Austria

St. Anna Church in Oberthalheim is a former monastery church about 35 m long and 10 to 13 m wide, with an interior height of 13.4 m. Its oldest parts, the three-bay late-Gothic choir with a 5/10 close and the single-nave nave, date from around 1495; the building was remodelled and baroquised between 1668 and 1671. After the 1866 fire, master mason Breinesberger built the 42.5 m tower with its onion dome in front of the facade by 1868.

The church began in 1497 with a late-Gothic choir and sacristy by builder Stephan Wultinger, consecrated to St. Anne in 1512. It served a Paulaner monastery until 1537, when the Polheim family turned Protestant and the monks left. Reclaimed by the Paulaners under Leopold I, it was dissolved in 1784 under Josephinism; the monastery was largely demolished after 1790. A fire in 1866 destroyed the roof, and the 42.5 m tower was rebuilt by 1868.

The church holds two organs: a Mauracher instrument from 1899 and the P.-Josef-Zipser organ, built in 1996 by Friedrich Hartig of Seewalchen as a slider-chest organ with 24 stops and 1418 pipes. It is named after the Salesian priest Josef Zipser (1912–1993), who served as pastor in Timelkam from 1950 to 1992 and played the organ himself.

The church stands in Oberthalheim, part of the market town of Timelkam in Upper Austria's Vöcklabruck district, roughly 35 m long and 13.4 m high inside. The entrance faces the baroque Immaculate Conception statue of 1735, and the 42.5 m onion-domed tower rises in front of the facade. The building is a protected monument; the adjoining former monastery now houses a lodging business.

The baroque statue of the Immaculate Conception at the entrance dates from 1735; its base carries the words of Revelation 12:1, "clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet." The church also holds two organs: a Mauracher instrument from 1899 and a 1996 sliding-chest organ with 24 stops and 1,418 pipes, named after Salesian priest Josef Zipser (1912–1993), who served in Timelkam from 1950 to 1992.
