Novystein, Monument and memorial in Sankt Radegund bei Graz, Austria.

Novystein is a 20-metre obelisk erected in 1883 on the 910-metre Fürwallnerhöhe (also called Fürwald or Kalkberg) south of the Schöckl, above Sankt Radegund bei Graz. Dedication inscriptions to the spa doctor Gustav Novy are carved on its base, one reading "Von Gott kommt alle Heilung. Ehre den Arzt, denn Gott hat ihn geschaffen."

In 1883 a festival committee including Moritz Ritter von Franck, Coloman von Gulcsi, Dr. Rudolf Schwingenschlögel and Lieutenant Ottokar Oliva decided to honour Dr. Gustav Novy on the 25th anniversary of his doctorate. A 20-metre obelisk was raised on the 910 m Fürwallnerhöhe (also called Fürwald or Kalkberg) south of the Schöckl, with dedicatory inscriptions on its base.

The obelisk carries dedication inscriptions on its base, including "Von Gott kommt alle Heilung. Ehre den Arzt, denn Gott hat ihn geschaffen." It was funded by grateful spa guests, and the monument's name keeps the memory of the physician Gustav Novy alive in St. Radegund.

Visitors should wear sturdy hiking shoes and be in reasonable physical condition to handle the climb. The path crosses uneven terrain and requires a fair amount of endurance.

The site lies along the edge of the popular Novystein-Katharina-Quelle loop trail, which takes hikers through varied terrain. The route connects several natural features and offers multiple perspectives of the mountainous landscape.
