Rondo

Rondo is a seven-story mixed-use building in the Lend district that combines residential and commercial functions. The structure holds apartments, offices, shops, and creative workspaces that are integrated into a single unified design.

The building was completed in 2007 on a site that previously held a mill called Marienmühle. The mill had closed in the late 1980s and the land stayed empty until this development transformed it into an active residential and working neighborhood.

The building houses artist studios on one of its middle floors that serve the local creative community. Visitors can observe how the studios function as working and living spaces for artists.

The building is easily walkable in the Lend district and has multiple entrances serving different areas. The surroundings are accessible for exploring the exterior and observing the architectural features from street level.

The facade is painted in a bold violet color that catches the eye when walking past the building. The design includes translucent plastic panels that give the structure a distinctive and lighter appearance.
