Heiligengeistkirche Klagenfurt

Heiligengeistkirche is a Baroque church featuring a single-nave hall with four bays and a barrel vault supported by pilasters adorned with regional coats of arms. The interior creates a tall, enclosed space with classical Baroque proportions.

The church was first documented in 1355 and served as Austria's largest Protestant place of worship in 1581 before coming under Jesuit control in 1600. This transfer marked a turning point in the building's religious purpose.
