Schoberköpfe is a series of jagged peaks forming the eastern boundary of the Hochkönig plateau. The ridge runs between prominent summits and steep rock formations that rise to approximately 2,700 meters.
The first documented recreational ascent took place in 1882, marking the start of mountaineering activity in the area. Since then, various climbing routes have become established objectives in the Berchtesgaden Alps.
