The Kalksburger parish church features a high altar painting depicting Peter's liberation from King Herod Agrippa's prison, created by Hubert Maurer.
Franz von Mack commissioned the construction of this church between 1793 and 1801, replacing an existing chapel that served the local congregation.
Joseph Keller painted ceiling frescoes illustrating the Last Judgment, Last Supper, and Creation, enriching the church's interior with religious narratives.
The church holds Sunday services at 10:00 AM and maintains regular office hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to noon.
The church houses an Anton Pfliegler organ from 1801 with 18 registers across two manuals and pedals, maintaining its original mechanical structure.
