Kollegium Kalksburg

Kollegium Kalksburg is a major educational complex comprising multiple buildings, several chapels, and landscaped grounds in Vienna's southern district. The campus features classical architecture arranged around parks and green spaces that provide a spacious setting for its academic programs.

The institution was founded in 1856 with imperial support and took the place of the Mon Pérou Palace that previously stood on this site. In 1897 it gained official authorization to conduct graduation examinations, marking its establishment as a complete educational institution.

The school reflects Jesuit educational values that shape daily life on campus, visible in how classrooms and religious spaces are organized and used by students. The traditions here center on a blend of classical learning and spiritual formation that visitors can sense throughout the buildings.
