Katzenturm Feldkirch

The Katzenturm is a fortified tower in Feldkirch with eight stories built from solid stone and surrounded by thick defensive walls. The building has a square shape and appears fortress-like due to its tall walls and narrow windows.

The tower was built in 1507 under Emperor Maximilian I and was part of the city's fortification system. It played an important role in defending the town against attacks from outside forces.
