St. Magdalena, Residential district in north Linz, Austria.

St. Magdalena extends over 12.33 square kilometers north of the Danube River, with an elevation of 266 meters above sea level.

The district, first documented as Haselbach around 1110, received its current name from the Church of St. Magdalena on Magdalenaberg in 1482.

The parish of St. Magdalena maintains winter traditions with events such as Adventkonzert, Lichteranzünden, and Punsch am Berg in December.

Residents can report street lighting issues through the Schau auf Linz app, contributing to the maintenance of 22,000 light points across the city.

The district houses an ancient lime tree near the church, which has been documented since 1300 and stands as a natural monument.
