Technisch-Naturwissenschaftliche Fakultät der JKU Linz

The Technisch-Naturwissenschaftliche Fakultät der JKU Linz is a building complex at the center of the university campus housing laboratories, lecture halls, and research facilities for engineering and science disciplines. The spaces are equipped with modern instruments and serve students and researchers for hands-on work and theoretical study.

The faculty was established in 1969 and developed into a major scientific institution in Austria. In 1972 it introduced one of the country's first computer science study programs.

Students from various countries participate in research projects at the faculty's 58 institutes, creating an environment of international scientific collaboration.

The campus is easily accessible from the city center by public transport and offers good navigation through clear signage throughout the grounds. Visitors should note that certain laboratory areas require prior permission to enter.

The building houses several Christian Doppler Laboratories that conduct specialized research and serve as a bridge between university and industry. These labs allow researchers to work on practical problems faced by companies.
