Schreckenspitze is a mountain summit near Eben am Achensee that reaches 2022 meters above sea level. The peak features exposed ridges alternating with grass-covered slopes and rocky outcrops that shape the alpine terrain.

The Schreckenspitze is the highest point of a long ridge running north to south between the Juifen and the Hohe Gans, with the Sonntagsspitze (1926 m) as its immediate northern neighbour. The sources record no mining or stone-oil history on its slopes; the documented past is one of route-finding, with the easiest approach running from Achenkirch or the Bächental via the Forsthaus Aquila and the Tiefenbachalm to the Gröbner Hals (1654 m). From there a marked path leads to the Sonntagsspitze, and the final stretch to the summit follows the ridge without a trail.
