Arena Nova, Indoor stadium in Wiener Neustadt, Austria.

Arena Nova is an indoor sports and entertainment facility in Wiener Neustadt with seating capacity of around 5,000 and a large floor space measuring 90 by 62 meters. The venue accommodates various sporting events, concerts, and cultural shows throughout the year.

The facility opened to the public in 1994 and gained international attention after hosting the final of the 1995 Women's Handball World Championship. This major sporting event brought the venue into the spotlight across Europe.

The arena sits in the Civitas Nova district, a new quarter built on the site of the former exhibition grounds between Raugasse and Wiener Straße along the Warme Fischa; around 600 apartments replaced the old fairgrounds. Its programme covers trade fairs, sports events, balls, concerts and congresses. Klaus Schneeberger, who initiated the hall, has chaired the Arena Nova BetriebsgmbH since 1990.

The arena sits in the Civitas Nova district, south of the centre, and is reached by road and by public transport. The 1994 hall was built with a floor large enough for exhibitions, so entrances and circulation suit large crowds. Visitors arriving by car find parking on site; those coming by train continue from Wiener Neustadt station.

In 1999 Arena Nova took the bronze medal at the IOC/IAKS Award, a prize for sports facilities run jointly by the International Olympic Committee and the International Association for Sports and Leisure Facilities. The honour came four years after the hall staged the final of the 1995 World Women's Handball Championship.
