Sankt Thekla church, Baroque parish church in Wieden, Vienna, Austria.
The church displays ornate stucco work created by artists Jakob Philipp Kegelsperger and Pietro Orsatti throughout its interior spaces and architectural elements.
Architect Matthias Gerl constructed the church in 1756 after the Piarist Order received permission to establish religious facilities in the Wieden district.
The church transformed from a Piarist educational center into a parish church in 1938, marking a shift in its religious and community functions.
Located at Ziegelofengasse 2, the church maintains regular services and stands near notable sites including the Paulanerkirche and Diplomatic Academy.
The building includes a collegiate house that hosted one of Vienna's most respected schools, educating over 1000 students by 1853.
