Stadt des Kindes

Stadt des Kindes is a former residential complex with educational facilities in Vienna's Penzing district, designed specifically to house and teach children. The site consists of multiple buildings arranged to provide sleeping areas, classrooms, and shared spaces all within one location.

The facility was built in the 1970s to provide housing and schooling for children from difficult circumstances. It closed after operating for 30 years, marking the end of an important chapter in Vienna's approach to child welfare.
