Stadtpfarrkirche Steyr

Stadtpfarrkirche Steyr is a Gothic parish church with a distinctive tower and three interior aisles organized under vaulted ceilings. Stone columns run through the space to support the structure and create a sense of height and order.

Construction started in 1443 under master builder Hans Puchsbaum from Vienna Cathedral and was completed in 1522. The new church replaced an earlier building and became a defining landmark for the town.
