The Fischerturm section within the castle walls contains a museum displaying local historical artifacts and documentation of regional heritage.
The property operates as Gasthaus Schloss Hochhaus, serving meals Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM, and Sundays until 2:00 PM.
A 1674 engraving by Georg Matthäus Vischer shows the original castle design before the 1911 demolition of the Meierhof and surrounding walls.
