Aquapulco-Piratenwelt

Aquapulco is a water park in Bad Schallerbach featuring five water slides, a wave pool, and multiple water play devices across indoor and outdoor zones. The facility offers separate areas for different age groups with varying water temperatures.

The water park grew as an expansion of Bad Schallerbach's thermal spa facilities, adding recreational attractions to complement the established wellness services. This development transformed the location into a broader leisure destination beyond traditional thermal bathing.

The pirate adventure theme runs throughout the facility and comes alive through performances featuring the Captain Splash character and water-based shows for families.

The facility features different temperature zones, including a 36-degree Celsius baby pool, and provides changing and storage facilities for visitors. Weekdays and off-season periods tend to be less crowded for a more comfortable experience.

The AquapleX-5D cinema combines water experiences with digital entertainment, allowing visitors to watch 3D films while in swimming attire. This creates an unusual intersection between water play and cinema technology.
