Schloss Eybesfeld

Schloss Eybesfeld is a castle in Styria featuring traditional Austrian architecture with multiple towers, located in the village of Lang. The ensemble is complemented by modern residential complexes designed under architect Manfred Wolff-Plottegg's direction.

The property was first documented in 1571 as Hof zu Jeeß and originally belonged to Stift Rein monastery. It later changed hands through several noble families before reaching its current form in 1853.

The castle grounds feature contemporary art installations created through collaborations with concept artists, bringing modern expression into the historic setting. These works demonstrate how creative projects can enliven historical spaces for today's visitors.
