Museum Angerlehner

Museum Angerlehner is a private art collection housed in a converted industrial facility with approximately 2000 square meters of exhibition space spread across multiple galleries. The holdings contain over 3000 artworks in various media including paintings, drawings, photographs, and sculptures.

The museum opened in 2013 within a former industrial workshop that underwent major architectural transformation to become a cultural space. The conversion of this vacant factory facility demonstrates how disused industrial sites can be repurposed for contemporary cultural use.

The collection focuses on artists from Upper Austria from the 1950s onward, reflecting the region's creative development over decades. Visitors encounter works that show how local artistic movements have evolved and shaped the cultural landscape.

The main hall spans 1200 square meters without interior columns, creating an open and spacious gallery environment. This unobstructed floor plan is enhanced by a system of sliding walls that allow flexible arrangement of the artworks on display.
