Museum Angerlehner, Private art museum in Thalheim bei Wels, Austria
The Museum Angerlehner features 2000 square meters of exhibition space within a converted industrial facility, showcasing contemporary art across multiple gallery spaces.
The museum opened in September 2013 in the former headquarters of the FMT Group, transforming an industrial workshop into a cultural institution through architectural renovation.
The collection contains over 3000 artworks, including paintings, drawings, photographs, and sculptures, with particular emphasis on Upper Austrian artists since 1950.
The museum welcomes visitors Thursday from 13:00 to 21:00 and Friday through Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00, with guided tours available on Sundays at 11:00 and 15:00.
The museum's main hall spans 1200 square meters without supporting columns and includes a specialized storage system with 161 sliding walls for artwork display.
