Schloss Krippach, Heritage manor house in Absam, Austria
The building extends across three floors with a western tower topped by a baroque bulbous dome and features seven window axes along its length.
The Kripp family received ownership of the estate in 1454 when Cardinal Peter of Augsburg granted it to Hans Kripp, a duke's counselor and kitchen master.
The castle chapel contains altar wing paintings by Franz Hellweger and carved sculptures, including a Madonna, created by craftsman Josef Miller.
The manor stands at coordinates 47.295939, 11.504267, surrounded by gardens with a baroque pavilion and protective wall enclosure.
Three earthquakes damaged the structure between 1670 and 1689, leading to its reconstruction in 1709 with all elements except the eastern square tower.
