Ansitz, ehem. Kastell Festetics, Protected heritage site in Gerersdorf-Sulz, Austria.
The Kastell Festetics features a monumental column front with six round columns displaying Doric capitals and a mansard roof design.
The structure was built during the Vormärz period for Countess Judith Festetics von Tolna as part of a spa complex until World War II.
The building represents a transition from fortified structures to residential estates, featuring classical architectural elements of Austrian nobility residences.
The property extends over 4.2 hectares of land and connects to the local area through a 120-meter approach road at 238 meters elevation.
A single-story loggia with square columns leads to a pavilion wing that previously served as the entrance to the thermal spa facilities.
