Burg Hausenbach

Burg Hausenbach is a medieval castle built on a granite rock formation and composed of a two-story palace with Romanesque features. The high defensive tower of the structure represents the original fortification and contributes to its distinctive shape.

The castle originates from the 13th century and is first documented in 1237 under the rule of Weichard I von Doppel. This record shows its early roots as a noble property in the region.
