Maria Larch

Maria Larch is a pilgrimage chapel located at 591 meters elevation in Terfens, nestled between forests and meadows in the Tyrolean landscape. The small building sits in a quiet setting surrounded by natural countryside.

The chapel was built in 1678 to house an earthen statue of Mary that had previously been attached to a larch tree. It originated from local religious practice and later became a site for pilgrimage.
