Ganjlik park, Public park in Xətai district, Baku, Azerbaijan

Ganjlik sits in the Xətai district of Baku and offers a sprawling green space with manicured lawns, paved paths and shade trees. The layout connects several zones for sports, play and rest through wide pedestrian walkways.

Construction of the park began on 11 November 2019 with the support of the Regional Development Public Association of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. It opened on 26 August 2021, and President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening with his wife Mehriban Aliyeva. The site covers 43 hectares in the Xətai district of Baku.

The name comes from the Azerbaijani word for youth and reflects how people of all ages use the space openly throughout the day. Families meet here on weekends for picnics while runners use the fitness equipment and children climb on the playgrounds.

The park covers 43 hectares, so information and direction boards are installed to help visitors find their way between the sports areas, picnic spots and the artificial lake. Running trails and cycle paths cross the grounds. A sports and recreation area for people with physical disabilities was set up by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.

The artificial lake is one of the park's most visited spots, and pedal boats are moored along a low wooden walkway that juts over the water. The park was created with support from the Regional Development Public Association of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
