Moštanica Monastery

Moštanica is a Serbian Orthodox monastery near Kozarska Dubica with a stone church at the center of its complex. The grounds include guest quarters, a chapel, a bell tower, and picnic areas spread along the Moštanica stream.

The monastery first appears in written records in 1579 when Patriarch Makarije had connections with the Ottoman Grand Vizier Mehmed-paša Sokolović. These ties helped the community survive and develop during Ottoman rule.
