Statue of Bruce Lee, Bronze statue in Zrinjevac City Park, Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The statue depicts Bruce Lee in a fighting stance and stands in Zrinjevac Park on the western side of Mostar. The monument is a life-sized bronze figure that captures the martial arts legend in a dynamic pose.
The monument was unveiled on November 26, 2005, making it the first public Bruce Lee statue in the world at that time. Its installation marked a significant moment in the city's history and its connection to global popular culture.
The statue reflects Mostar's connection to Bruce Lee, whose films arrived through video distribution during the 1970s and sparked widespread enthusiasm for martial arts across Yugoslavia. It stands as a marker of that era's passion, which continues to resonate in the city today.
The statue sits in the public Zrinjevac Park and is easy to reach on foot. Visitors can view the monument at any time since it stands freely outdoors and requires no entry arrangements.
In March 2024, the statue was stolen and cut into pieces for scrap metal sale. Local authorities recovered the fragments within six days and later restored the monument to its original location.
